In my last Image Optimization SEO guide, I told how naming your images your key words can improve your image ranking. Another trick is to name the folders your images are in related key words.

Allow me to explain. Say you have a website about clothes on your own host. Your site is called “lotsofclothes.com”. You need to make folders to put your images in. Most just use the name folder1, or images.

If you use Wordpress chances are you just use that auto upload function. That puts all the images in a folder called uploads. 99% of all website owners use these names for all their images. That's not good Image Optimization SEO.

When Google looks at an image, it reads the COMPLETE url to try to figure out what the image is about. So if you have image1.jpg in folder images, it sees this: lotsofclothes.com/images/image1.jpg.

Can you figure out what the image is about? No, I can't either! You want to have different image folders, all named with the key words related to the actual image, for good Image Optimization SEO.

So since it's a clothing store, you want to name your folders the root key words of what you stock, like this:
lotsofclothes.com/shoes/
lotsofclothes.com/dresses/
lotsofclothes.com/pants/

You also can be even more detailed and use this:
lotsofclothes.com/mens-shoes/
lotsofclothes.com/petite-dresses/
lotsofclothes.com/teen-boy-pants/

That really gives Google a good tip as to what the heck that image is about and great Image Optimization SEO. Once you add key words to the image itself, it's so easy for Google to see what it is:

lotsofclothes.com/petite-dresses/girls-pink-flower-dress-1.jpg

Google would be blind to not understand what it is now! If brand names are more important to you, try naming your folders and images like this:

lotsofclothes.com/nike-socks/mens-white-nike-socks-1.jpg

There is all kinds of ways to make your folders and image names practically beg Google to see what it is for great Image Optimization SEO. Using this way to name your folders will get them on the first page of Google image search every time!

Morningstar Farms Meal Starters (TM) Grillers Recipe Crumbles sure are a mouth full. The name of the product is a mouthful and the superior product quality is a mouthful too. Morningstar Farms Recipe Crumbles, unlike the other two fake ground beef products I reviewed, is vegetarian, not vegan. It is considered Kosher Dairy. This product is made primarily of wheat and soy ingredients. Interestingly, Morningstar Farms Recipe Crumbles lists Textured Vegetable protein (also known as TVP), as the first ingredient. I would expect that to be the first ingredient in a fake ground beef product, but the other two products I reviewed in two previous articles, listed water as their first ingredient.

The exact ingredient list for Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles is as follows:

Ingredients:
Textured vegetable protein (wheat gluten, soy protein concentrate, water for hydration), water, corn oil, contains two percent or less of autolyzed yeast extract, chicory root fiber (inulin), natural flavors from non-meat sources, black malt powder, salt, soy sauce (water, soybeans, salt, wheat), cornstarch, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, tomato powder, onion juice, spices, vitamins and minerals (niacinamide, iron [ferrous sulfate], thiamin mononitrate [vitamin B1], pyridoxine hydrochloride [vitamin B6], riboflavin [vitamin B2], vitamin B12).

The Morningstar Farms People also make another version of crumbles that are sausage style. If you are looking for a meatless alternative to sausage, then these crumbles are the ticket and work just the same as the fake ground beef crumbles.

Now let's look at how Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles works. These are precooked crumbles that are ready to heat and serve and require no thawing. You just add them to your favorite recipe like you would ground beef. Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles come in a 12-ounce package and 12 ounces is the equivalent to 1 pound of uncooked ground beef. So, if your recipe normally calls for a pound of ground beef, you would use one 12-ounce package instead. You can use these crumbles for making sloppy joes, tacos, pasta with fake meat sauce, stir fry, casseroles, stroganoff, and any number of endless dishes that normally use ground beef as a key ingredient. Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles, however, does not contain the high cholesterol and calories that real ground beef does. It is a healthier option and the perfect solution to creating meat style dishes that are really meatless. Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles has ZERO trans fat, ZERO saturated fat, and 2 grams of polyunsaturated fat. Polyunsaturated fat is the “good” fat that helps reduce cholesterol. It is also high in protein. Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles are a healthy meat alternative for vegetarians, diabetics, and people reducing their cholesterol intake.

Morningstar Farms is a division of Kellogg's and as such, their line of veggie products and meatless soy alternatives are available in most mainstream grocery stores.

Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles are the first burger style crumbles I ever tried. I was ecstatic when I first discovered the product because I knew how easily it could imitate meat in a vegetarian recipe. It is a versatile product and I have used it literally hundreds of times. I would rank Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles as the number 1 tasting fake ground beef product available on the market. I would rank Boca Meatless Ground Burger as an extremely close second. The Boca is slightly healthier than the Morningstar Farms and also meets the requirement of it being a vegan product. So, hats off to Boca for being able to achieve those 2 things with the great taste of its competition. I prefer the convenient packaging of Boca Meatless Ground Burger because I don't always use an entire package when I cook, it just depends on the recipe and how many people will be eating. The Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles have a slightly better texture over Boca, and that is probably because TVP is the first ingredient listed. Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles has a slightly better seasoned taste than Boca, but as I said in my previous review of Boca Meatless Ground Burger, flavorless is a good thing in fake ground beef. What is UNdesirable is a soy taste or after taste. Neither Morningstar Farms, nor Boca has any unpleasant after taste. Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles work for anything I want to cook that would normally have ground beef EXCEPT fake meat loaf and burger patties. The crumbles are not sticky enough to hold together and form a shape. Even with added sticky ingredients in fake meatloaf, the fake loaf comes out looking good and tasting good, but impossible to slice and is just one big crumbled mess.

I highly recommend Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles as a fake ground beef and you don't have to be vegetarian to enjoy its benefits and good taste.

So, which fake ground beef do I buy the most? If a store has Morningstar Farms priced the same as Boca, I will buy Morningstar Farms. Otherwise, between the two products I buy the one I get the best price on, which usually results because of an instant coupon stuck to the package. Now that is marketing that works.

Soy Be It.

A quick shout out to 1 Way Links for sponsoring this Associated Content Post!

WHY SHOULD YOUR WEB VISITORS READ YOUR ARTICLES OR BLOG?
The only way to build up a proper link building strategy for your online business is by creating content that web readers will love to read on a weekly basis. You need to figure out exactly who the audience is that you are currently writing for or your link building techniques will never pay off. This free SEO tool will only work when you get your reader to take some form of action after reading your blog or content-heavy article.

The following link building techniques are perfect when you combine them all in your ultimate quest for building a targeted web audience for your online business.

1. SUBMIT YOUR ARTICLES TO ARTICLE DIRECTORY SITES TO ACHIEVE TARGETED LINK BUILDING TECHNIQUES
You should start submitting all of your articles to various websites that are dedicated to providing free article content to anybody who wants to link their web pages to your article. While you will never know for sure that all of these website links are 100 percent legitimate, you will still be creating great exposure for your website by using this free SEO technique.

You must make sure that all of your articles include your website's URL at the bottom of your content page to ensure that every reader that loved reading your article will have a chance to visit your entire site at his convenience. It's always best to submit web content that is not already on your site to draw the best kind of viewers to your site as possible. However, if you have more than 30 articles that cover various subject matter pertaining to your article submissions, you don't need to follow this rule as strongly as a site owner that only has twenty articles or less in their main web pages.

2. SEND OUT EMAILS TO FELLOW BLOGGERS AND WEBSITE OWNERS
Begging for links is completely outmoded behavior in the internet world today, so you need to contact fellow bloggers about linking to their pages and describe exactly how linking to your web pages will benefit them most. Write compelling and attention-grabbing ad copy in your future e-mailings only to people who write great article or blog content on a regular basis. Make sure you are sending your e-mails to the appropriate person by analyzing who the author is that wrote the best articles on the individual website that you feel has the most relevance to your own site.

When you make it perfectly clear in your initial e-mail introduction that you can bring a lot of targeted traffic and quality web visitors to their site, any website owner or blog writer will gladly link to your site as long as your web pages are relevant to theirs. They will help you out even more in the future if you help them out right now by driving traffic to their sites first.

3. GREAT FREE SEO MARKETING CAMPAIGNS SHOULD INCLUDE SOCIAL BOOKMARKING
When one of your articles actually makes it to the front page of a huge social bookmarking site such as Delicious Popular or Digg, your secondary links to your web pages will grow enormously. Don't forget to prominently display your articles on smaller sites such as Reddit, Techmeme and Fark as well. Also, make sure that your article's headline is captivating or you will not be able to grab the attention of the subscribers of any of these social bookmark sites.

Your keywords should be prominently displayed in all of your article titles, but you have to realize that what works on Digg to get people's attention will not always work on other sites such as Fark or Reddit. Always tweak your article's content according to whatever bookmarking site you are submitting it to, but never change your main title's keyword phrases upon article submission since most of the resulting links will just duplicate that title anyway.

4. WRITE FOR ANOTHER SITE WHEN YOU START LINK BUILDING
After you have written a lot of different blog site and website owners about the benefits of linking their site pages to yours, you can also tell them that you would be happy to make a guest appearance on their site as a host of a forum chat or special content writer on one of the site owner's most popular category pages. When you include your site's URL listing on one of your articles, it should focus on what your site will bring to your host's web viewers, not the other way around.

For example, instead of stating “Tom Smith is currently the owner and CEO of BlogWriters.com”, your personal byline that you should include in your guest writer's column text should be “If you are having trouble finding content for your web pages, go to the new writer's tutorial section listed at 'BlogContent.com' and you will be able to find all the great web content articles that will best suit your needs.”

By linking all of your web pages with relevant and informative websites out there, your overall goal in creating more advertising website revenue will be that much closer when targeted web visitors begin visiting your site with much more frequency.

I’m sure you remember sitting in your marketing class in college when your instructor blurted something about the Four P’s of Marketing. If you weren’t paying attention or perhaps missed class that day, here is a quick review. It’s really a simple concept that is still employed by many of the fortune 500 companies today.

A Quick Review of the Four P’s

Marketing strategies generally fall into four categories known as the four P’s: they are product, price, place (or distribution), and promotion. Most marketing managers (sometimes referred to as product marketing managers) have complete control of the product from manufacturing and distribution to marketing and promotions. The end goal, of course, is to make strategic decisions that center the four P’s around the target consumer group in order to communicate an effective value proposition and create a positive customer experience.

The term “product” refers to the tangible, physical product itself. This includes the design of the form factor, the brand name, the features and functionality, quality, safety, packaging, the warranty, etc.

When considering “price”, marketers must take a holistic view of the total cost to manufacture the product, distribution costs and advertising costs; as well facilitating a competitive analysis and perhaps a focus group to find the target price that consumers are willing to pay. Other considerations include defining a pricing strategy, suggesting a retail price, volume discounts and wholesale pricing, seasonal pricing, and bundling the product with other products.

The distribution of the product (or place) is about getting the product from the warehouse to the customer and all the steps between. Marketers must consider the most effective distribution channels, develop a supply chain management strategy, identify specific channel partners, inventory management, warehousing, order processing, and transportation.

The last thing marketers must consider is promotion. Promotion represents the various characteristics of an integrated marketing communication plan; that is, the communication messages that inform, educate and persuade consumers to buy the product. An effective integrated marketing communication plan would include: advertising (online & offline), personal selling, direct marketing, sales promotions, public relations; as well as establishing a marketing budget and identifying measurable goals.

Is there anything else to think about?

Absolutely. Since we are on the subject of acronyms, introducing the Six C’s of marketing. These concepts are not meant to replace the four P’s, but rather compliment them. They provide a more granular look at the overall marketing strategy while taking into consideration the following: customer, consistency, creativity, culture, communication and change.

Customer – this means that an organization’s marketing strategy needs to be customer focused. It’s about intimately understanding the target market not as demographics, but as real, everyday people. It’s about focusing on the target customer first and then working backwards to the product and or service; and then ultimately the brand. It’s a never ending cyclical process.

Consistency – how many times have you heard mixed messages from the same company’s advertising? Marketers need to maintain consistency in their communication messages to reinforce the value proposition to the target consumer. This will also serve to reinforce the brand in a real life context and avoid doing something lame like changing the Nike tag line from “just do it” to something different.

Creativity – it is important to use creativity to attract the attention of the target consumer since they are bombarded with thousands of messages per day. Creativity means laying aside the “traditional” rules of advertising, and challenges marketers to think out-of-box so that they can tap into their imaginations.

Culture - all marketing messages need to have a cross-cultural component in order to be effective. It is dangerous to think that everyone in the world (including your target consumer) thinks, acts and makes purchase decisions exactly like you. It’s not true and having this perspective can prove to be hazardous to your marketing health.

Communication – people don’t appreciate “in your face” advertising. They don’t want to be “marketed to” either. They would much rather be “communicated with”. Effective communication creates value with target customers, speaks in their language and tells your story.

Change – don’t fight it, embrace it. Change is here to stay! Marketers must constantly change as society changes. They should never be afraid to step out in faith to try something different. Marketing today is not what it used to be; it is constantly evolving and marketers must consider change in the world, economy, market, consumers perceptions; as well as internal change within the organization.

There was a time when every Sunday neither me nor my husband would have to work, to celebrate we would make a big breakfast of scrabbled eggs, veggie sausages and veggie bacon. Now while eggs, sausages and bacon may sound like an unhealthy breakfast I think that because everything was meatless that it was very healthy, high in protein and very tasty.

I originally tried the Morningstar Farms Veggie Bacon Strips just for fun. While I was cooking the veggie bacon strips, that looked sort of like play food, it brought me back to when I was a child and was playing with my play stove and play food. After eating the veggie bacon strips it brought me back to the eating actual crispy bacon, I was very impressed and really enjoyed making it, as silly as it sounds.

To accompany the veggie bacon I was eating I first got some Morningstar Farms Veggie Sausage Links. I was equally impressed with how much the veggie sausage links tasted like actual sausage links as I was with the veggie bacon strips if not more. I think the only reason I didn't buy the Morningstar Farms Veggie Sausage Links again is because I found that a patty was easier to cook than a link. Now the links take up less room in the frying pan so for that reason they were good to use, but I liked being able to flip a patty rather than chasing after a rolling link attempting to cook it on all sides.

Like the Morningstar Farms Veggie Sausage Links I thought that the Morningstar Farms Veggie Sausage Patties tasted very much like sausage, perhaps even exactly alike. The taste wasn't the only thing that I like though, the were some much easier to cook in the frying pan with the Morningstar Farms Veggie Bacon Strips I made.

It is great that if I want to have a BLT that I can find some veggie bacon strips that will do the job of the B in BLT and be believable in taste. It is also nice to know that if I want an egg and sausage muffin that I can get some veggie sausage patties and they will go great with some eggs, cheese and an english muffin. I have eaten a lot of the Morningstar Farms Veggie Bacon Strips, Veggie Sausage Links and Patties, and enjoyed them very much. They definitely are a great addition to some eggs and toast for a full breakfast.
